Visit customer sites to assess customer needs and potential, to develop and maintain strong relationships, and to generate and close sales.

Hold yourself accountable for high performance.

Prospect and develop new accounts and grow relationships with existing customers.

Become a part of your customers' business.

Interact with inside sales staff to generate support.

Look for new opportunities for growth and revenue generation.

Know your marketplace and communicate with your manager.

Ensure professionalism and ethical conduct when dealing with customers, vendors, and coworkers.

Engage in continual training on our products to become a valued technical resource to your customers.

Experience you will need:

Experience in inside or outside sales.

Outstanding customer service, communication, and persuasion skills.

Comprehensive knowledge of our products or the curiosity to learn them.

The ability to maintain positive relationships with team members, vendors, and customers.

Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook).

Ability to interact with engineers on technical matters.

An engineering or business degree and outside industrial sales experience would be ideal.

Industrial distribution experience.

Track record of growing sales.

Experience in Automation (i.e., PLCs, I/O, SCADA & DCS).

In-depth knowledge of instrumentation (i.e., Flow, Level, Temperature & Pressure, etc
