Territory Sales Manager

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWhat you will be doing:
- Visit customer sites to assess customer needs and potential, to develop and maintain strong relationships, and to generate and close sales.
- Hold yourself accountable for high performance.
- Prospect and develop new accounts and grow relationships with existing customers.
- Become a part of your customers' business.
- Interact with inside sales staff to generate support.
- Look for new opportunities for growth and revenue generation.
- Know your marketplace and communicate with your manager.
- Ensure professionalism and ethical conduct when dealing with customers, vendors, and coworkers.
- Engage in continual training on our products to become a valued technical resource to your customers.
Experience you will need:
- Experience in inside or outside sales.
- Outstanding customer service, communication, and persuasion skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of our products or the curiosity to learn them.
- The ability to maintain positive relationships with team members, vendors, and customers.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook).
- Ability to interact with engineers on technical matters.
- An engineering or business degree and outside industrial sales experience would be ideal.
- Industrial distribution experience.
- Track record of growing sales.
- Experience in Automation (i.e., PLCs, I/O, SCADA & DCS).
- In-depth knowledge of instrumentation (i.e., Flow, Level, Temperature & Pressure, etc
