Our client is a well-known bank looking for an entry-level Customer Service Specialist with some banking knowledge to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$20/hr

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Customer Service Specialist with a 1-year prior banking experience to join our client's team. The ideal candidate for the Customer Service Specialist role will be responsible for providing high-quality customer service, addressing customer inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience for all banking clients.

Responsibilities of the Customer Service Specialist:

  • Respond promptly and courteously to customer inquiries and complaints, demonstrating a thorough knowledge of banking products and services.
  • Assist customers with account management, including opening and closing accounts, processing transactions, and resolving any issues related to their accounts.
  • Provide accurate and timely information regarding banking products, services, and policies.
  • Facilitate the resolution of customer issues and complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction and a positive banking experience.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure that customer needs are met and that the highest level of service is maintained.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions, adhering to confidentiality and privacy regulations.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of customer service processes and procedures.
  • Participate in regular training and professional development sessions to stay current with banking trends and best practices.
Qualifications for the Customer Service Specialist:
  • 1 - 2 years proven experience in banking/bank teller role.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in utilizing customer relationship management (CRM) software and other relevant banking tools.
  • Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor, even in high-stress situations.
Education requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
