We are looking for an Electrical Engineering Manager to join our NAF team in Freeport, TX.

We are seeking a professional like you to provide technical and managerial leadership to your staff and lead the long term strategic along with tactical support for the Freeport Site. You will serve as the site-wide tactical expert regarding complex electrical systems as it relates to maintenance and operations solutions. You will partner with the businesses on site to maintain and improve power system reliability. You will also be responsible for the tactical implementation of maintenance and reliability strategies consistent with requirements as defined by the Asset Management organization.

Leveraging your background in Electrical Engineering and experience in Medium and High Voltage Power Maintenance/Reliability (2.3KV-238KV) to establish and drive standardized work processes and standards. This ensures efficient work execution and fosters technical development for the contract execution workforce.

Leading the Power Distribution Department by executing and refining management systems to ensure the safe and effective planning and execution of high voltage work at the Freeport Site.

Effectively handling the unknown and unexpected while supporting the development and implementation of electrical reliability strategies aligned with Asset Management targets.

Utilizing your strong communication skills to collaborate with site partnersincluding Engineers, Maintenance and Operations Personnel, Procurement, Stores, Accounting, Site Leadership, and manufacturing support services. You will analyze site-wide AE data, evaluate trends, and recommend or implement changes to equipment strategies or maintenance programs for continuous improvement.

Managing Power Distribution Technicians and on-site contractors directly, providing essential technical support to these teams.

Using your expertise in Electrical Systems to support the development and execution of capital projects, where you may act as the manufacturing representative.

Balancing priorities across multiple plants and situations while maintaining a focus on reliability processes such as Bad Actors, Root Cause Failure Analysis, and FMEA. You will ensure these processes are followed and that technical capabilities are sustained through training and succession planning.

Serving as the primary backup to the Sr. Power Distribution Manager by contributing to the development of the 5-year power systems plan, collaborating with on-site partners, and engaging with the broader Electrical Community at BASF.

Possess an Electrical Engineering Degree required.

Have advanced degree (MS, MBA) preferred.

Have previous management experience strongly preferred.

Are experienced in high voltage maintenance or operations required.
