Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced professional to join our Power Distribution team. This role is essential in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our electrical distribution systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain electrical and communication systems for our manufacturing facilities.
  • Conduct comprehensive power system studies, including load flow, short circuit, and arc flash analyses to guarantee system reliability and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Provide expert technical support to operations and maintenance teams, assisting in troubleshooting power system challenges and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Review and validate electrical designs and specifications for new projects, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to implement necessary upgrades.
  • Establish and optimize preventive maintenance programs for critical power system components.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, standards, and best practices in power systems engineering.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in large-scale petrochemical manufacturing.
  • In-depth knowledge of power distribution systems, including transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, and protective relaying up to 138kV.
  • Proficiency in power system analysis tools such as ETAP or SKM PowerTools.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., IEEE, NEC, ANSI).
  • Experience with SCADA systems programming and communication.
  • Knowledge of SEL and GE relay programming.
