This company specializes in the manufacturing of metal products such as shear panels, roll-formed products, and metal building systems.

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will perform maintenance on plant manufacturing equipment and electrical systems, design and install equipment retrofits, and train plant maintenance technicians in electrical troubleshooting and repair. You will work with minimal supervision but also collaborate within a team environment, reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager.


What youll be doing:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance on manufacturing equipment and electrical systems
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and repair equipment
  • Test electronics and use electrical test equipment such as multimeters, power monitors, and infrared imaging tools
  • Design equipment upgrades and build machine control panels
  • Program AC and DC drives, and PLCs (experience with Siemens PLCs preferred)
  • Train plant maintenance technicians in electrical troubleshooting and repair


Requirements:

  • Ability to program AC and DC drives
  • Ability to program PLCs, specifically Siemens PLCs
  • Proficiency in operating a wide range of electrical test equipment
  • Proficiency in using AutoCAD
  • Associate degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician or Electronics Technician


Schedule:

  • 8-hour shifts
  • Day shift, Monday to Friday
  • Overtime as needed
