We are seeking to hire an entry-level construction professional to join our Estimating team.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- PSO Meetings: Attend and participate in PSO (Project Scope Overview) meetings to gather and relay project information.
- Opportunity Management: Track and manage new project opportunities, ensuring all relevant details are documented and communicated.
- Pricing Requests: Handle pricing requests from clients and internal teams, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Follow-Ups: Conduct follow-ups on pricing requests, proposals, and project updates to ensure timely completion and client satisfaction.
- Planswift Creation: Use Planswift software to create and manage detailed estimates and takeoffs for various projects.
- Pre-Qualifications: Assist in preparing pre-qualification documents required for bidding and project participation.
- Pre-Bids/Site Visits: Coordinate and participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather necessary information for accurate project estimates.
- Project Discovery: Support the discovery phase of projects by collecting data, analyzing requirements, and contributing to initial project assessments.
- Other Administrative Tasks: Perform general administrative duties, such as organizing files, managing correspondence, and supporting the estimation team with various tasks.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and follow-up abilities.
- Basic understanding of estimation and project management principles.
- Familiarity with Planswift or similar estimation software is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
