Job Summary

This critical role within the cleaning and restoration industry is responsible for overseeing all aspects of restoration projects, including water, fire, smoke, and mold damage. The successful candidate will ensure projects are properly scheduled, planned, and completed efficiently and on budget, while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction. To be considered, candidates must have proven experience in water, fire, smoke, and mold mitigation jobs and project management, as well as relevant IICRC certifications, including WRT, AMRT, and ASD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Effectively schedule, plan, budget, manage, and oversee water and other restoration projects.
  • Properly assess, document, and report all restoration projects from start to finish, including performing field inspections, taking photographs and videos, measurements, and moisture readings, and using project management software to estimate and report.
  • Effectively manage, supervise, and train technicians in water, fire, smoke, and mold remediation standards and processes.
  • Effectively and timely communicate and coordinate with insurance representatives, vendors, subcontractors, technicians, and labor to ensure timely completion of all projects.
  • Foster a team culture and positive work environment while providing leadership, training, and guidance to technicians and others.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of proven experience in water and mold damage restoration/project management role within the restoration industry.
  • Current IICRC certifications required: WRT, AMRT, ASD (optional).
  • Strong understanding of operational processes, employee management skills, and excellent customer service.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to lead a crew of technicians and temp labor.
  • Ability to strategize, solve problems effectively, and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven knowledge of and experience in insurance claims process: claims documentation, Xactimate estimates, satisfying adjuster requirements.
  • Proficiency in computer technologies, including CRM/scheduling/project management tools, Xactimate, Word, Excel, computers, iPads, phones, etc.
  • Ability and willingness to work in the field with technician crews.
