Description Job Title: Training and Development Leader Company: Lonestar Electrical Supply Location: Texas Job Type: Full-time EEO Class: Professionals VETERANS ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY Lonestar Electric Supply and its subsidiaries are looking for a Training and Development Leader who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs which will improve the knowledge and productivity of the organization’s employees across all positions and points in the employee life cycle. The ideal candidate will be well versed in the latest, most effective training methods to be delivered across all mediums. They should also be experienced, energetic, engaging, and flexible in their approach. This leader will be crucial in ensuring that our employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles and contribute to the success of the company. Responsibilities Identify the training and development needs of our employees through assessments, surveys, and feedback from managers and employees. Develop and implement effective training programs that align with our organizational goals and meet the needs of our employees. Work closely with managers to ensure that all employees receive the necessary training to perform their job duties effectively. Research, implement and maintain a Learning Management System. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to ensure continuous improvement. Develop and maintain relationships with external training providers and vendors. Manage the training budget and ensure optimum utilization at reasonable cost. Stay current with the latest trends and developments in employee training and development using various mediums. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Speech Communications, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Proven experience as a Training and Development Manager or similar role. Strong knowledge of training processes and employee development strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to develop and deliver effective training programs. Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other training software.
