THE ROLE:

Unit is hiring an IT Help Desk Specialist (On-Site) to join our growing team In this role, you will be providing IT service and support for all internal users onsite in our NYC office, as well as remote users across the US. Our ideal candidate is highly entrepreneurial and can work cross-functionally. For the right person, it's a rare opportunity to help build an industry-defining company from the ground up.

The role is a part-time position based in New York City, and we are only considering candidates who can be in the office Monday through Friday.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Help Desk Specialist (On-Site), you will:

- Provide on-site technical support to our dynamic team, with a focus on MacBook users.

- Respond to helpdesk tickets promptly, escalating issues when necessary.

- Assist remote users across the US, ensuring their IT needs are met efficiently.

- Work closely with the People Team and Office Manager to support the vibrant atmosphere of our office.

- Collaborate with the global IT and security team based in Israel to address broader network and security concerns.

- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels in coordination with security protocols.

- Handle onboarding and offloading processes, leveraging automated systems when applicable.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

- 3-5 years of proven experience in IT Helpdesk, with a focus on MacBook systems.

- Experience with Google Workspace, JumpCloud, or equivalent services.

- Familiarity with IT ticketing systems for efficient support management.

- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams, particularly with the IT and security team in Israel.

- Relevant IT certifications are a plus.

- Ability to work onsite, Monday to Friday

COMPENSATION

The compensation for this role is expected to be $45-50 per hour, 30 hours per week.
