What You Will Do Design Innovation: Collaborate with a team of experts to conceptualize, design, and develop innovative mechanical systems for cutting-edge battery manufacturing facilities. Technical Expertise: Utilize your extensive design experience in developing detailed and accurate system designs. Perform QAQC review of project interim deliverable packages (30%, 60%, 90%, IFC) and ensure adherence to design standards, codes, and regulatory requirements. Code Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant codes, standards, and regulations, including ASME, NFPA, and ASHRAE. Sustainability Integration: Integrate sustainable design principles and energy-efficient practices into your work. Teamwork and Communication: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including electrical, process, and controls engineers. What You Need B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field - Master is a PLUS 8+ years of experience in design of mechanical systems for industrial facilities utility infrastructure Extensive working experience in large-scale, high-volume and high-tech manufacturing facilities Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems design, dry systems (HVAC, CR/DR mechanical systems) and/or wet systems (process distribution piping, air compressors and dryers, vacuum systems, pumps, heat exchangers, pure water, process chilled and hot water, and nitrogen generation) Working knowledge of applicable design guides and standards related to utility systems Experience in system modeling using Pipe Flo or other simulation software is a plus Experience with CFD analysis is a plus Strong teamwork and communication skills Strong problem-solving skills and an aptitude for learning quickly Understands and follows all standards of IATF16949 and VDA 6.3 quality standards. Understands and follows all standards of ISO14001 environmental standards.
