Roles and Responsibilities:

The Senior Electrical Engineer has the following summary of duties and responsibilities on a regular basis

. This list is not inclusive of all required duties that may be assigned by management.

– Perform engineering calculations and electrical system design

– Effectively communicate design options to clients and ownership groups

– Complete projects within budget and schedule

– Extensive knowledge of building systems, related disciplines, codes and design standards

– Training and management of project team members

– Construction administration services, including site reports, submittal reviews and RFI responses

– Edit specifications and assist in maintaining technical standards

– Review construction cost estimates

– Participate in business development activities

– Oversee and review design work by project team as the Engineer of Record

Qualifications and skills:

– B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related degree

– 10+ years of industry experience

– Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)

– LEED Accreditation

– MS Office, Power Analysis Software (Easypower or SKM), limited Revit knowledge

– Analytical with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

– Excellent communication skills including phone, listening, verbal, and writing

– Highly adaptable and flexible

– Collaborative, diligent team player willing to go “above and beyond”

– Dependable, ethical, professional, and responsible with a strong work ethic

– Maintains positive attitude
