Summary

ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for an Events and Special Projects Coordinator for the Shrine on Airline facility.

ASM Global is seeking an experienced, skilled and professional team member for this position. Essential duties of this position include assisting in the planning and execution of events, facility operations assistance, turnkey special projects and administrative responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist with the planning and execution of Shrine on Airline events, including site visits, walk throughs, pre-event meetings, event day management, and post event related activities.
  • Provide support to Event Services, Operations and Sales/Executive Personnel for (and in preparation for) events varying in size and scope.
  • Assist with researching, reviewing and recommending equipment, materials and supplies required in producing and organizing events.
  • Coordinate and complete various turnkey special projects as assigned.
  • Coordinate administrative activities and tasks, including, but not limited to, research projects, management of various databases including operational and financial-related, inventory control, etc.
  • Attend and actively participate in Shrine on Airline meetings as requested and deemed appropriate.
  • Provide comments and input to facility department representatives during post event discussions regarding issues, concerns, and areas of improvement related to events.
  • Assist with proactively generating sales leads for the facility including, but not limited to, external outreach efforts, site visit coordination and event proposal creation.
  • Assist with the efficient and effective communication with all Shrine on Airline clients regarding the delivery of ASM Global services.
  • Maintain proper image and generate positive public relations with clients, patrons and staff.
  • Maintain professional demeanor and attire at all times.
  • Provide excellent customer experiences at all times when interacting with staff, guests, vendors and clients.
  • Provide and ensure efficient and effective communications regarding the delivery of services and information (internally and externally).
  • May support ASM Global New Orleans facilities.
  • All other duties as assigned.
