Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Special Projects Coordinator to join our team at HRA of New Britain. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our executive team, coordinating special projects, and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the executive team, including preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Coordinate special projects, including events, meetings, and training sessions.
  • Manage the office calendar, coordinate travel arrangements, and make reservations as needed.
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to ensure timely and accurate information is shared with staff and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of projects and initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the executive team.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Human Services or related field or High school diploma or equivalent, with at least five years of experience in an office or administrative support position.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interface effectively with a wide variety of internal and external clients.
  • Highly developed written communication skills, including report writing, presentations, email correspondence, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and operate with a high sense of urgency.
  • Ability to show and demonstrate on a consistent basis initiative, professionalism, poise, and flexibility.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual (Spanish/Polish/English) is not required but preferred.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal social service resources.
  • Understanding of HIPAA and importance of privacy of personal data.
Work Environment

The Special Projects Coordinator will work in a fast-paced office environment with frequent interruptions, conflicting priorities, and varying workloads. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
