As a financial analyst on our team, you'll support

Joint Force Development by providing expertise in highly specialized financial, programmatic, and business analysis environment to support senior management business decisions. You will apply specific functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, data entry, and analysis of data, and knowledge of program management and finance. You'll participate in the identification, analysis and evaluation of processes related to DoD Training initiatives. You will plan, coordinate, and support meetings and planning events involving worldwide participants to improve use of joint training resources. You'll contribute to the resolution of complex programmatic and financial problems using analytic judgment and proven analytic practices. You will work independently with some guidance and

multi-task in a fast-paced environment while meeting strict deadlines . This is an opportunity for you to demonstrate your understanding of federal appropriation law and other fiscal guidance that will help your client develop well-formed requirements. Once the funding is in place, you'll make sure the funding is used efficiently through consistent tracking and communication with Joint Force senior leadership. Join us. The world can't wait. You Have: 3+ years of experience with support to military headquarters in Program Financial Management

Experience with financial execution of a spend plan within a Department of Defense organization, including analysis of obligation plans vs obligations

Experience with monthly financial reporting

Experience with financial programming for Operations

, Maintenance and Research, Development, and Test and Evaluations appropriations

Experience with business and accounting processes and policy

Knowledge of analytical techniques and evaluation criteria to measure and improve program effectiveness and productivity

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, O365, and Microsoft Excel

Secret clearance

Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of experience with financial execution in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have: Experience with creating complex spreadsheets

Experience working with Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) accounting system or other DoD Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems

Knowledge of federal appropriation, fiscal laws, and other financial guidance related to the execution of DoD resources

Ability to research payments in government systems

Ability to interpret the intent of a client's needs effectively and help to shape and form the solution by leveraging team capabilities

Ability to work in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment with aggressive project timelines and continual client delivery

Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

The projected compensation range for this position is $51,600.00 to $105,000.00 (annualized USD).
