Your key responsibilities:

  • Accounting in the plant : Monitor and oversee budgets, spending, and GL accounts,
  • Adhoc reporting-Provide managerial, financial, and operational analysis and reports as needed .
  • Budgets: Support controller with current and future budget activities
  • Capital: Support Maintenance and Engineering managers on capital projects and maintaining asset records
  • Controls: Work with external/internal audit teams and local management to ensure control compliance
  • Inventory: Monitor inventory counts, approve write offs, and ensure inventory reporting is accurate and timely.
  • Management Reporting: Producing reports and providing insights of performance results on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Month End Close: Support month end close work.
  • Product Costing : Work with global Supply chain finance and local SC teams to verify accuracy and changes are made where required.
  • Vendors and Payments: Work with managers to review vendor bids, contracts, and make sure payments to vendors are correct and timely.
  • Support other financial and operational activities as needed.

Skills and experience:

  • 3+ years work experience in a manufacturing/transportation or similar supply chain field
  • Experience with an ERP computer system (SAP preferred)
  • Excellent excel skills.
  • Strong desire to learn and work in an operational setting.
