ARC is a thriving, dynamic, and fast-paced healthcare system environment where compassion, accountability, respect for the dignity of life, entrepreneurship, and stewardship are key elements of every thing we do We are hiring a Team Lead for our growing team The Team Leader of the Masterpiece Kitchen & Café remains responsible for the day-to-day operations. We are looking for a qualified team leader to manage our kitchen and wait staff in direct coordination with the Eastern Region Enterprise Manager. You will be responsible for supervising, managing, and working alongside team members on a daily basis. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to handle problems as they arise and leading by example to engage the entire staff to achieve goals. Key Responsibilities: Assist Eastern Region Enterprise Manager in all aspects of business operations. Organizing schedules, keeping track of employees’ hours and recording payroll data. Support or oversee all inventory affairs regarding the restaurant. Maintaining safety and food quality standards. Benchmark event success and format necessary plans for improvement. Ordering food, linens, gloves and other supplies while staying within budget limitations Supervising daily shift operations, including front- and back-of-house restaurant operations Controlling operational costs and identifying ways to cut waste Appraising staff performance and disciplining or retraining employees to correct poor performance Quantify, record and project gross revenue; as well as effectively work with the sales and marketing teams to ensure financial/commerce goals are met. Follow policies, procedures and processes for interfacing between Enterprises and all ARC-related entities. Maintain a respectful relationship with employees, interns and persons served/clients. Display a professional disposition towards fellow staff, as well as maintain confidentiality for necessary business matters. Maintain a positive working relationship with Addiction Recovery Care/Odyssey, Inc. staff as well as customers and clients alike. Immediately inform the supervisor of policy and/or personnel issues as they arise. Protect the privacy of all staff and persons served/client information in accordance with Addiction Recovery Care Center/Odyssey, Inc.’s privacy policies, procedures and practices – as required by federal and state law and in accordance with general principles of professionalism as a healthcare provider. Key Experience and Education Needed: High School diploma or equivalent ServeSafe Certification (or inclination to immediately receive certification upon hire) Basic computer skills – Proficiency in Microsoft Office Other Qualifications to be Considered: Knowledge and competency in problem-solving, stress management, professional ethics and team building. Flexibility and willingness to adapt to schedule changes; as well as the embodiment to accept job responsibilities not fully depicted within this job description albeit necessary according to management’s discretion and/or task at hand. Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. Ability to project sales and work with sales and marketing teams to achieve foreordained goals.
