Job Summary

We have immediate openings for Deckhands in our Marine Division. As a critical member of our towboat and barge operations, you'll play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and operational readiness of our towboats and barges.
• Securely wire barges and attach them to the boat for transit.
• Ensure safe passage of the boat and barges, including completion of line handling and communication duties.
• Lead by example as a safety leader and good steward of the environment.

Requirements

• Must be able to complete a health questionnaire and pass a physical abilities test.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug test.
• Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card.
• Other requirements may apply.

Preferred Qualifications

• Maritime industry experience – pay rate is dependent on experience.
• Maritime industry experience is strongly preferred, but not required.
