  • Oversee truck leasing agreements and recruitment of management and support personnel.
  • Monitor labor standards to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
  • Collaborate with HR to develop robust safety initiatives.
  • Review incident reports to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Promote a culture of safety with a zero-incident goal.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and OSHA regulations through regular facility inspections.
  • Maintain comprehensive records related to driver performance and equipment maintenance.
  • Evaluate routing for optimal efficiency and adjust as necessary.
  • Verify vendor invoices and manage accounts payable processes.
  • Analyze trip records for efficiency in fuel usage and cost management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Strong managerial and supervisory capabilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of operations and production management.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to engage in various physical activities including walking, climbing, and bending.
