Your Role

We are seeking a Coffee Roasting Assistant to join our expanding team at Masterpiece Cafe. In this role, you will support the Coffee Roaster throughout the entire coffee roasting process, from sourcing high-quality beans to ensuring timely delivery. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Roasting Coffee Beans: Assist in the operation and upkeep of roasting equipment to achieve optimal roast profiles.
  • Quality Control: Monitor roast profiles and make necessary adjustments to maintain consistency in flavor and aroma.
  • Packaging: Aid in packaging roasted coffee beans, ensuring all packages are labeled accurately with roast dates and flavor notes.
  • Shipping and Delivery: Coordinate the internal distribution of roasted coffee beans to various locations and deliver supplies as needed.

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, candidates should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • The ability to read and follow detailed instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • A valid driver's license and safety awareness.

Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to:

  • Stand or sit for extended periods.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Operate various office equipment and maintain mobility within the workplace.
