Responsibilities:
Client Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients at a national level.
Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and escalations.
Understand client needs and objectives to propose tailored solutions and strategies.
Conduct regular business reviews and performance analysis to ensure client satisfaction and identify opportunities for growth.
Sales and Revenue Growth:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability.
Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to secure profitable deals.
Forecast sales volumes and track performance metrics to measure progress against targets.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and customer support, to align strategies and initiatives.
Provide feedback and insights from clients to inform product development, marketing campaigns, and business strategies.
Coordinate with regional sales teams to ensure consistency and alignment in account management practices.
Market Analysis and Competitor Research:
Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and potential threats.
Develop a deep understanding of client industries, challenges, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decisions.
Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare regular reports and presentations for management, summarizing sales performance, client feedback, and market insights.
Analyze sales data, trends, and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to drive business growth and efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven experience in national account management, sales, or business development roles.
Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and revenue goals.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office suite, and sales analytics tools.
Ability to travel nationally as needed.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
