We are looking for someone comfortable with vendor management and event planning.In this role, the responsibilities will involve:Connecting with potential clients and negotiating their contracts.Executing the overall account strategy to generate and maximize our locations' revenue.Identifying opportunities to increase revenues.The Event Sales Manager must be available to travel to all our exciting locations to manage and coordinate events activities, services, and client specifications to deliver smooth execution of full restaurant buyouts.Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage sales to establish target goals by location / market.Develop and execute quarterly game plans to meet period, quarterly and annual revenue goals.Analyze sales weekly, monthly, quarterly to identify opportunities and track growth. Proactively share sales challenges with recommended plans to address gaps with leadership team.Convert maximum number of inbound leads to booked while enhancing brand perceptions.Build BEOs / Orders and confirmation of event details with clients. Negotiate prices when necessary and help clients with menu selection.Build, maintain, and secure new business new business through relationship building with concierges, meeting planners, industry professionals, industry events, conventions, associations, and meetings.Maintains, utilizes, and enhances a local area book of business to facilitate special event bookings and sales.Continual customer communication around essential dates and deadlines to ensure the restaurant team has the information necessary to execute a successful event (pricing, cut-off dates, introductions, payment authorization, menu detailing, guarantees, etc.).Serve as our primary point of contact for full restaurant buyouts.Guest ServiceManage Call Center & Call Center SOP'sProvide oversight and mentorship to Sales Associates and AdminWork to achieve a "5" with every event we execute by proactive communication RequirementsMinimum 2 years inbound/field sales experience requiredSpecial consideration to those with sales experience in restaurant catering or private diningMulti-unit sales experience preferredProven ability to create and maintain strong client relationshipsStrong written and oral communication skillsHighly self-motivated and ability to achieve success while working autonomouslyExcellent time management and organizational skills requiredProficient in Microsoft OfficeAbility to adapt and adjust planned work through analyzing work demands, competing priorities, and tight deadlines; and understand the most effective and efficient means to accomplish tasks within the parameters of the organizational structure, processes, systems, and policies.Ability to assess situations, provide counsel, and identify solutions that resolve challenges/issues, while considering the best interests of all parties; to develop and implement short and long-term solutions, and to apply effective problem solving and decision-making to address business needs and issues.Proven ability to shift and multi-task effectively and produce accurate, timely results in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment; adaptable to changeConsistently demonstrate a positive approach, team-player attitude and professional demeanorWilling to work extra hours as needed to get the work done.
