Job Summary:
Were looking for an Admissions Workflow Specialist to join our PharmScript team within our Data Entry department. As an Admissions Workflow Specialist, you will be responsible for maximizing the effectiveness of available resources and ensuring that orders are entered according to established delivery deadlines . Admissions Workflow Specialists are expected to have a positive attitude and work well in a team environment, must be dependable, possess a strong work ethic and have reliable attendance.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and is an effective communicator. They are always a team player, eager to jump in where needed and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy and needs of customers.
Responsibilities:
Use available workflow management tools to effectively drive workflow relative to order receive times and established completion time expectations
Responsible for ensuring that all admission orders received are resolved ahead of delivery completion
Assist Admissions Pharmacy Technicians with process and procedure related questions
Responsible for all hourly workflow and delivery completion reporting
Strong foundation of Admission Pharmacy Technician tasks and the ability to fill in for that role when needed
All tasks and duties must be completed in compliance with HIPPA guidelines, State and Federal laws and current company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Long Term Care experience preferred
Knowledge of Medicare Part D, Medicaid, Medicaid HMO plans, & commercial insurances
Knowledge of Brand/Generic medications and Sig codes required
Knowledge of Framework or Docutrack a plus
Certifications/Licenses:
Must be a registered pharmacy technician in the applicable state
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that should be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:
May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day
The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, walk, crawl intermittently
May be necessary to work extended hours as needed
May lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong analytical problem solving and strategic thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Moderate to advanced computer and typing skills required, including Microsoft Office applications and proprietary workflow management handling
Candidate must possess basic math skills to calculate prescribed medication quantities quickly and accurately for dispensing
