As Daxkos Benefits & Compliance Coordinator, you will drive the benefits administration and data integrity for all benefit efforts. You will support annual audits, open enrollment, and end-of-year benefits reporting. Additionally, you will drive implementing and maintaining regulatory changes, support various teams to ensure understanding and observance, and assist in developing strategies and documentation to ensure overall payroll & benefits compliance.

In your day-to-day, you will:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on benefits & compliance policies and practices including regulations and their impact on payroll
  • Complete end-of-year compliance audits & paperwork such as ACA reporting, PCORI forms
  • Administer annual Open Enrollment process to ensure education of team members and accurate, timely enrollments
  • Serve as liaison to brokerage team, benefits vendors through coordination of meetings, enrollment data, and policy changes
  • Conduct all benefits changes and file feed maintenance in ADP, assisting payroll on relevant impacts to pay
  • Monitor eligibility and compliance requirements needed to process benefit enrollments, terminations of coverage, and ensure required forms are completed accurately and timely
  • Maintain a comprehensive documentation practice of all compliance activities and changes
  • Actively monitor and analyze federal and state regulations & litigation for changing benefits or benefit-related payroll/policy
  • Track and respond to unemployment data requests, state wage and census data, and leaves of absence
  • Coordinate with payroll administration on changes to benefit premiums, leaves of absence, and compliance changes to pay
  • Serve as team member liaison for coordination of FMLA paperwork and all other paid or unpaid leave needs as it relates to benefits and impact on payroll
  • Provide exceptional customer service to team members by answering questions, addressing benefits needs, and escalating to brokers/vendors as needed
  • Participate in the development of the payroll teams compliance best practices, risk assessment/management, and ongoing monitoring of company policies.

Qualifications:
Qualifications

  • Two (2) to Four (4) years of experience in benefits administration and compliance
  • One (1) year of experience administrating benefits in ADP WorkforceNow
  • Working knowledge of laws and compliance on the federal and state level that may impact payroll and benefits practices
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Simultaneously manages multiple priorities and sees them through
  • Ability to work independently to solve complex problems
  • Demonstrates skills in the areas of problem-solving, organization, analysis, and critical thinking
