RP is seeking a Marketing Specialist to support a federal organization. This position is contingent upon award. The Marketing Specialist will create marketing and communication materials for various audiences, specifically Veterans, Veterans Service Organizations (VSO) contractor shall provide Quality Assurance Support in the following areas of communication and marketing:

  • Develop communication strategies and plans for various information campaigns.
  • Create marketing tools and materials that explain the Boards OAI Program and how it is used to improve decision accuracy at the Board resulting in improved service for Veterans and other appellants.
  • Assist with creating and drafting briefing materials, social media content, media inquiry responses, Congressional Reports, email blasts, public service announcements, etc.
  • Define, design, and prepare communications strategies within the organization as well as evaluate and assist in establishing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Review and edit communications submitted for organizational issues and work closely with various business departments to ensure messages are delivered clearly and effectively.
  • Review, retrieve, utilize, consolidate, and/or reconcile existing deliverables to obtain relevant information and assist in the preparation, effective and efficient support delivery, and completion of other deliverables, including ad hoc communications deliverables, and provide for government review.
  • Provide guidance and SOPs specifically on Communication, Marketing, and responding to Audits from a Quality Assurance perspective.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 8 years of experience
  • The ability to work for any US employer without requiring sponsorship
  • Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs
