About the Role:

The Clark Associates team is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Field Marketing Specialist to support store sales and customer outreach in the DMV area. As a Field Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for communicating the advantages of shopping with The Restaurant Store and providing customers with an overall summary of how we can help them achieve business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to businesses within the local market to increase sales with the current customer base while developing new relationships with prospective customers.
  • Conduct calls or video/virtual meetings with prospective customers to discuss their product needs and develop rapport.
  • Develop a clear understanding of the product line offered in-store and gross profit associated with privately labeled products.
  • Communicate effectively with the Sales team to ensure follow-through on leads generated by Field Marketing Representatives.
  • Communicate effectively with the Branch management team regarding updates for the customer base, including new customer prospects and lapsed customers.
  • Communicate pertinent information to the TRS marketing department through established reporting methods.
  • Plan, organize, and execute specific marketing and sales programs.
  • Research and communicate competitor information to sales and inventory teams within the branch by providing relevant competitor invoices and identifying where prospective customers are sourcing products from.
  • Navigate intelligently and assist customers in establishing online accounts and setting up quick pick lists.

Requirements:

  • A car and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
