Medical Logistics Specialist

is responsible for fulfilling orders, maintaining inventory and coordinating shipping/receiving functions with all functional areas for on-site clinic health units for our mission in Haiti. This position is responsible to be compliant with the current Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance, as well as DOH and Agency for Healthcare Administration COVID-19 specific requirements. Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure full compliance with SOW Property Book Management requirements. Use company provided property accountability application (electronic tool) to ensure the adequate property record keeping and accountability of all Government Furnished Equipment/Property from original acquisition data through final disposition via salvage or consumption. Maintain property records at 100% accuracy level. Maintain and update manual and computerized property inventory records and assist with the monitoring and control of equipment. Perform physical inventory of property and equipment and update accountability records as needed to include annual hand receipts and location/custodial transfers; conduct 25% inventory of property every quarter for a 100% inventory of property each contract year. Develop and implement record keeping processes to include the implementation and maintenance of hand receipts for each site. Provide recurrent training to Site Leads or designated representative on all aspects of property control. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual property inventory reports as required by the Contracting Officer. Prepare investigation reports for incidents of Lost, Damaged, Destroyed and Theft of USG and/or Acuity property. Monitoring and control of equipment to include service maintenance schedules. Receive incoming packages from couriers. Inspection of incoming packages which includes checking for damages of package contents and verifying quantities shipped against packing slips. Mail delivery - mail meaning any package that gets delivered to the warehouse, delivery meaning bringing packages to the appropriate recipient or coordinating storage. Package and ship domestic packages using company defined couriers. Build medical exam kits for numerous contracts with good attention to detail, as specified in the customer requirements for each contract. Update and maintain expiration records for medications and medical supplies. The complete cycle counts as directed by the supervisor. Increase/decrease inventory levels as necessary in the electronic inventory database. Performs duties in a safe manner and follows the corporate safety policy. Performs other duties as assigned in accordance with contract requirements. QUALIFICATIONS: High diploma or equivalent. Knowledge/experience of managing USG Property under provisions of FAR 52.245-1. Three or more years of progressive property book experience is preferred. Experience managing logistics support for diverse projects. Must be able to pass a detailed background investigation. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong team-building and team-member skills. Must be able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, be organized and have excellent verbal and communication skills. Proficiency with computer and common office equipment, as well as with MS Office products required. Must be able to perform duties in a stressful and high paced environment. Ability to adapt to sudden changes and flexibility in work requirements to include potential shift changes based on operational needs and/or command priorities. Willingness to travel in the U.S. as needed. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. 2 Years of Medical Logistics Specialist experience. Demonstrated ability and/or familiarity with operating warehouse equipment. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must have a current U.S. passport. Sign an International Assignment Agreement (IAA) prior to deployment. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must meet pre-deployment physical requirements. Due to varied current global health climate, additional personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines may apply. Employees may potentially be working in an environment supporting the medical response to an emergency health crisis created by a highly infectious disease, COVID-19. Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time. Location of services may at times be in remote, austere or challenging environments.
