As an Account Manager, you will continue HALO's growth by acting as the main sales contact within an assigned territory of accounts within the Channing Bete Company Program's Sales Group. The Account Manager is tasked with managing, building, and maintaining customer relationships, providing a positive customer experience, and driving revenue growth with medium-sized and large-ordering prospects and customers from within an office-based environment through proactive and reactive telephone contact.

This is a full-time onsite position 5 days a week in the office. The location for the office is:

Responsibilities

  • Meets or exceeds annual sales goal for assigned territory of accounts within the Channing Bete Company Program's Sales Group
  • Makes a predetermined number of high-quality proactive telephone presentations daily tailored to prospects and customers from provided contact lists to achieve monthly and annual call goals
  • Documents meaningful call notes daily in customer relationship management software (Salesforce)
  • Creates and presents sales quotes to existing and prospective customers through proactive and reactive telephone presentations
  • Independently monitors and manages all pre- and post-sale tasks, tracking quotes and orders through completion
  • Works jointly with other Account Managers/Sales Group colleagues, Supervisory/Management staff, and Customer Service staff to provide the highest level of customer service and sales support to existing and prospective customers
  • Modifies call allocation or selling strategies to respond to marketplace shifts, new funding, or emerging needs
  • Understands the needs of customers/prospects to position value of Channing Bete Company products and services
  • Proactively introduces new products/services as needed
  • Performs additional duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or 1+ years of Telemarketing, Customer Service, and/or Account Management experience
  • Proficiency with Window-based Microsoft computer applications
  • Experience with customer relationship management software (i.e., Salesforce)
  • Must possess the desire and ability to contribute to a team-oriented work group as well as work well independently
  • Have strong phone sales skills, be articulate, a good listener, and a strong communicator (written and oral)
  • Strong ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, keep track of steps in processes, and lead projects to completion
