**Your day.**

As a Customer Care Tech III you need to know how to:

* Acts as the liaison between supply chain and all clinical areas and has subject matter expert knowledge of all equipment and/or inventory related requests. Supports KPI data gathering; actively tracks call downs, equipment cleaning, lines picked, and exchange carts.

* Ability to float throughout the department due to department knowledge and can function in any area assigned within the department; includes receiving, inventory, and other customer care roles as necessary.

* Processes orders for supplies and/or equipment as needed through Lawson, EPIC, and Par Excellence. Proactively controls timing of urgent delivery of orders, and understands the nature of clinical department priorities and patient safety concerns

* Maintain accurate supply/equipment inventories, bin locations, replenishment levels, and order information. Resolves shortages of items in a timely fashion. Informs departments of substitute products, back orders, delays in shipments, and/or stock outs.

* High School Diploma or equivalent, required

* Associates degree and/or continuing education, preferred

* CMRP Certified Materials Resource Professional, preferred

* Lean Green Belt, or equivalent, preferred

* 3+ minimum; 5 years preferred in an inventory management role in Healthcare in clinical and/or procedural areas, required

* This associate fully understands clinical requests for supplies and their use on patients (knowing clinical lingo and the intricacies of the supplies and how they are used on patients; including expertise in manufacturing descriptions and how they relate clinically), required

* Knowledge of MMIS, preferably Lawson, Epic, Par Excellence or other related inventory system, preferred
