Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic commodity plans aligned with our organization's goals and objectives.

  • Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and contractual agreements.
  • Draft, review, and manage contracts to ensure compliance with legal and business requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies in all procurement activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
  • Proven experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, and supplier relationship management.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of achieving cost savings and value creation.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry trends, market conditions, and supply chain best practices.
  • Experience with ERPs (Infor/Baan a plus)
  • Experience with creating, monitoring and improving Supplier Risk mitigation plans.
  • Ability to lead and drive cross functional Commodity Strategy initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with internal Engineering, Product Management to support development of Commodity Strategies.
  • Strong Business Acumen.
  • Ability to travel to Suppliers as needed.
  • Technical - Ability to read and understand specifications, Bills of Materials and blue prints.
  • 5 years of experience in a Manufacturing setting.
