The Associate Resource Manager will coordinate staffing needs, ensuring smooth operations by aligning the right talent with the right roles. This role will focus on building solid relationships with associates and leadership to foster collaboration and drive team success.
In this role, the Associate Resource Manager will manage interviewing candidates to ensure new hires settle in smoothly. This role will also help manage day-to-day associate relations and keep everything running efficiently. By completing these tasks, the Assistant Resource Manager will make a difference in how Steel Toe Talent meets operational needs and stays competitive in the market.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Oversee the allocation of associates to projects, ensuring staffing levels meet client and operational needs.
•Monitor and adjust associate assignments based on project timelines, associate availability, and client requirements.
•Ensure the right associates are deployed to the right roles, matching skill sets with project demands.
•Conduct regular check-ins with associates to assess availability, project satisfaction, and performance.
•Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to identify staffing needs, support recruitment efforts, and attend hiring events.
•Provide feedback on associate quality and adjust recruitment strategies accordingly.
•Ensure new associates are effectively integrated into the workforce and assigned to appropriate projects.
•Conduct thorough interviews and make informed hiring decisions, ensuring the selection of candidates who best align with the company's values, skills requirements, and long-term success of Steel Toe Talent.
•Maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the key contact for resource-related concerns.
•Identify opportunities to streamline resource management processes, improving efficiency and effectiveness.
•Train and develop associates on job-specific skills, emphasizing safety protocols, company procedures, and best practices to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
•Ensure that all practices comply with company policies, labor laws, and industry regulations.
•Serve as the Office Manager by overseeing office supplies, maintaining organization, and ensuring a tidy workspace in collaboration with cleaning services.
•Partner with the Business Development team to support office initiatives, facilitate client meetings, and contribute to the growth of Steel Toe Talent.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
•Office and warehouse environment.
•This role requires a full-time onsite presence Monday through Friday to ensure smooth daily operations within the office environment.
•Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
•Must be able to work in the office and warehouse environment most days of the week; this is not a remote position but may have some remote flexibility.
•Some out-of-state travel may be required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
•Experience managing customer relationships.
•Minimum of one year of experience working with associates in non-traditional office environments is preferred (distribution, manufacturing, retail, supply chain, etc.)
•Experience in training and developing associates on job-specific skills, emphasizing safety protocols, company procedures, and best practices to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. Ensure that all resource management practices comply with company policies, labor laws, and industry regulations.
•Ability to conduct thorough interviews and make informed hiring decisions, ensuring the selection of candidates who best align with the company's values, skills requirements, and long-term success of Steel Toe Talent.
Education:
We believe that skills and experience are what truly matter. While education can be a valuable asset, it is not required to succeed in this role.
Experience:

•Must have a valid Driver's License.
