Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process, ensuring the timely and successful hiring of qualified candidates.
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary action, and grievance procedures.
- Administer employee safety and benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans (both ESOP and 401k), and wellness initiatives.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations, staying up to date on any changes or updates.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in HR management, business administration, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations (DOT, OSHA).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Proven experience in recruitment and selection, including interviewing and talent assessment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
