Apply Here Responsibilities: Collect fees and rent from tenants. Conduct collections process with tenants who are behind in payments. Administer resident retention, renewal, and leasing to maintain occupancy goals. Maintain resident relations by overseeing resident phone calls, concerns, and requests. Enter tenant and financial information into property management software. Prepare weekly and monthly budget, maintenance, and legal reports. Maintain buildings and apartments to code; attend inspections as needed. Schedule needed maintenance, repair, and make-ready projects. Manage and follow-up with maintenance team on the progress of make-ready and maintenance tickets. Lead and develop the property and maintenance team. Tour communities/sites with and without clients, including walking properties and climbing stairs. Daily travel to property sites in Independence and Eastern Jackson County. Advertise properties and maintain expected level of occupancy. Additional duties as assigned. Requirements: High School Diploma/GED required (Associates degree preferred). Valid Driver's License to visit properties (site visits are a required part of duties). 5 years of Property Management Experience required; multi-site experience is a plus. Experience with varied rental housing types preferred: multi-family units and single-family homes. Experience with PropertyWare preferred. Demonstrated leadership skills in managing teams. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including collection process communications. Proven ability to multi-task.
