MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN POSITION

REPORTS TO: PROPERTY MANAGER

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to support our operations in the property management sector. This role is essential for maintaining the quality and functionality of our residential properties.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $28.00 per hour

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Maintenance Technician, your primary duties will include:

  • Addressing service requests and performing necessary repairs in a timely manner.
  • Preparing vacant units for new residents to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Implementing preventative maintenance and conducting safety inspections for properties and equipment.
  • Enhancing your technical skills to deliver exceptional service while minimizing reliance on external contractors.
  • Overseeing the work of outside contractors and assisting with additional tasks as assigned by the Property Manager.
  • Participating in the on-call rotation to provide continuous support for property needs.
  • Maintaining professionalism and integrity by adhering to company policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in Multi-Family or Commercial Maintenance, or a related Construction field.
  • Preferred certifications: HVAC (Type II or Universal) and EPA (minimum Type II).
  • Proficient in basic Electrical, Plumbing, and Carpentry skills.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to maintain high-quality site appearance and curb appeal.
  • Capability to lift 50+ pounds.
  • Valid driver's license required.
