MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

As a vital member of our property management team, the Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our residential properties. This position offers opportunities for both full-time and part-time engagement, catering to skilled professionals in the maintenance field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 per hour

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Address service requests and repairs promptly, executing related tasks as necessary.
  • Prepare vacant units efficiently to ensure a smooth transition for incoming residents.
  • Implement preventative maintenance and adhere to safety inspection protocols for properties and equipment.
  • Enhance technical skills to deliver exceptional service, reducing reliance on external contractors.
  • Oversee external contractors and assist in achieving team objectives as directed by the Property Manager.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation to provide continuous support for property needs.
  • Maintain professionalism and integrity by adhering to company policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in Multi-Family or Commercial Maintenance, or a related Construction field.
  • Preferred certifications: HVAC (Type II or Universal) and EPA (minimum Type II).
  • Proficient in basic Electrical, Plumbing, and Carpentry skills.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently.
  • Capability to maintain a high-quality site appearance and curb appeal.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
  • Valid driver's license required.
