MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to enhance our operations within the property management sector. This role is pivotal in ensuring the functionality and aesthetic appeal of our residential communities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 per hour

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Maintenance Technician, your primary duties will include:

  • Responding efficiently to maintenance requests and executing repairs as necessary.
  • Preparing vacant units promptly to facilitate a smooth transition for incoming residents.
  • Implementing preventative maintenance and conducting safety inspections for properties and equipment.
  • Enhancing your technical skills to deliver exceptional service, reducing reliance on external contractors.
  • Overseeing external contractors and contributing to team objectives as directed by the Property Manager.
  • Participating in the on-call rotation to ensure ongoing support for property needs.
  • Maintaining professionalism and integrity by adhering to company policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in Multi-Family or Commercial Maintenance, or a related Construction field.
  • Preferred certifications: HVAC (Type II or Universal) and EPA (minimum Type II).
  • Proficiency in basic Electrical, Plumbing, and Carpentry skills.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently.
  • Capability to maintain high-quality site appearance and curb appeal.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
  • Valid driver's license required.
