Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 per hour

ABOUT Rookwood Properties

Established in 1966, Rookwood Properties, Incorporated is a prominent name in property development and management. Our extensive portfolio includes over 2700 residential units, office spaces, retail outlets, and warehouses across various regions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Maintenance Technician, your primary focus will be on maintaining the quality and functionality of our residential properties. Your expertise will ensure that our communities remain welcoming and well-kept.

  • Address service requests and repairs promptly, executing related tasks as necessary.
  • Prepare vacant units efficiently to facilitate a smooth transition for new residents.
  • Implement preventative maintenance and safety inspection protocols for properties and equipment.
  • Enhance your technical skills to deliver exceptional service and reduce reliance on external vendors.
  • Oversee external contractors and assist in achieving team objectives as directed by the Property Manager.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation to provide ongoing support for property needs.
  • Maintain professionalism and integrity by adhering to company policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in Multi-Family or Commercial Maintenance, or a related Construction field.
  • Preferred certifications: HVAC (Type II or Universal) and EPA (minimum Type II).
  • Competence in basic Electrical, Plumbing, and Carpentry skills.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently.
  • Capability to uphold high-quality site appearance and curb appeal.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
  • Valid driver's license required.
