Your Role: As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in building our team of compassionate professionals. Here's how: Collaborate: Work closely with the Chief Human Resources Officer to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies. Source Talent: Identify and engage top talent through job boards, social media, industry networking, community outreach, and referrals. Screen Candidates: Conduct thorough interviews to assess candidate qualifications, skills, and organizational fit. Coordinate Interviews: Ensure a positive experience for both candidates and hiring teams by scheduling and managing interviews. Engage Candidates: Follow up with candidates to communicate their application status and maintain a strong pipeline of active candidates. Manage Recruitment Process: Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, from posting jobs to onboarding new hires. Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with industry trends and recommend improvements to our recruiting process. Enhance Onboarding: Collaborate with HR and hiring teams to streamline onboarding processes. Maintain Compliance: Ensure adherence to HIPAA and PII privacy and security requirements. Starting Salary: $58,000 to $59,740 Requirements: What We're Looking For: Education & Experience: High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred. Certification in Human Resources (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus. Recruiting Expertise: Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role, with a strong understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle. Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage candidates effectively. Multitasking Ability: Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and other HR software. Knowledge of Laws: Understanding of employment laws and regulations. Clearances & Licenses: Ability to obtain Criminal and Child Abuse Clearances from the State of California/Department of Justice, and a valid California Driver's License with a good driving record.
