About the Role:

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Ample, you should be comfortable with meeting new people, frequently and have an ability to determine a candidate's potential through intuition and clever questions. Your organizational and time management skills are impeccable. You communicate (both written and verbally) in a polished, professional, upbeat and energetic manner. You will be building relationships, evangelizing Ample's story and building a pipeline of skilled candidates. Ideal candidates are goal oriented and operate with a sense of urgency. (This can be hybrid in nature, but requires 3 days per week in our San Francisco office.)

What you'll Do:

  • Maintain and develop a pipeline of eligible candidates for Engineering and potentially G&A related roles (e.g. Software, Electrical & Mechanical Engineers etc.)
  • Conduct 1st interviews via phone, video or in-person and schedule follow on interviews with appropriate team members
  • Recruit Candidates - Full-Cycle: from sourcing, qualifying or rejecting a candidate based on resume review/interview feedback to closing the loop on candidates who are not a match or making/negotiating offers with matching candidates
  • Serve as contact person with candidates and as liaison with the hiring managers

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1-3 years+ experience working as a Talent Acquisition Specialist / Recruiter for technical, engineering roles
  • Must be able to work independently and find creative solutions
  • Experience with job-posting websites such as Indeed, LinkedIn etc.
  • Ability to effectively use an applicant tracking system, keeping detailed notes, scorecards and email communications with candidates
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with Google Suite of products; Microsoft Office; Airtable exp. a plus
  • High-energy, enthusiasm and a passion for recruiting and Ample's mission
  • Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced environment; prefer startup experience
