Korpack is growing and we're looking for a Financial Systems Analyst to add to it

This role will configure, implement, maintain, and customize the systems that store and process financial data. You will collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to determine primary needs and goals and create solutions to meet objectives. The role will configure systems, perform data migration, oversee the implementation of workflow processes, assist with user access and permissions, and perform ongoing troubleshooting. You will prepare reports and create a variety of other materials including training documentation and department procedures.

Key Accountabilities

Optimization of financial operations and data Maintenance and compliance of ERP system Management of financial data through use of ERP Optimizing Systems to reduce errors and improve speed and organization. ERP data accuracy Quick understanding of the goals of the business, then create and execute solutions in ERP

Primary Responsibilities:

System Maintenance and Enhancement: Maintain and oversee the functionality of ERP and systems, ensuring they are up to date, secure, and meet business needs. Ability to understand ERP settings and automation capabilities in ERP system. Data Integrity: Manage financial data within the system, including data input, validation, and maintenance. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security. Financial Reporting: Generate and distribute financial reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses to support management decision-making. Support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process, and organizational planning. Use a variety of data analysis and organization tools to discover the most impactful insight. Business Analysis: Analyze financial and business processes to identify areas for improvement and automation. Work on process optimization and system integration to enhance operational efficiency. Analyze processes to identify gaps that can improve profit margins Establish benchmarks for financial processes Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development and maintenance of budgets and financial forecasts. Provide data and insights to support the budgeting process. Process Improvement: Identify and recommend process enhancements and automation opportunities to streamline financial operations and improve efficiency. Quickly understand the goals of the business to create and execute solutions for its betterment. Recommend and execute ERP setting updates to improve the business. Analyze current business processes and make recommendations for improvement based on industry trends and professional business knowledge. Improve training and operational procedures within a business to increase efficiency and productivity. Assist in writing specifications used by developers for automation of business processes. Enhance internal processes through appropriate communication, documentation, problem-solving, and follow-up. Continuously assess financial systems and processes for areas of improvement, efficiency gains, and cost reductions. Propose and implement changes accordingly. User Support: Provide technical support and training to end-users of financial systems, resolving issues and assisting with troubleshooting. System Integration: Collaborate with other departments to integrate financial systems with other business systems, ensuring data flows smoothly. Oversee implementation projects from beginning to completion. Compliance: Ensure that financial systems and processes comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices. Testing and Validation: Conduct system testing, including unit testing and user acceptance testing, to verify the functionality and accuracy of financial systems. Lead testing such as user acceptance, performance, security, usability, etc. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for financial systems, including procedures, user guides, and system configurations. Security: Implement and enforce security protocols to safeguard financial data and systems from unauthorized access and breaches. Continuous Improvement: Continuously assess financial systems and processes for areas of improvement, efficiency gains, and cost reductions. Propose and implement changes accordingly. Assist with special projects as requested.

What Challenges We Expect:

The challenge is fully understanding the ERP system and its capabilities, as well as the many job functions within the organization utilizing the ERP system. Many departments will request your support; being able to prioritize tasks and understand the company’s vision and what is most essential to get there will be a challenge.

How We’ll Support You:

You will have a team around you to help you perform in your role, including the mentorship of the QA/IS Manager and the VP of Finance. Tools and training for effective analysis of trends and data. ERP training courses and tasks in various areas to continue learning. Training on industry and company software, tools, product knowledge, and use of robust ERP platform.
