This position reports to USA Lead Mo Div Controller &Dri Site Mgr Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a business partner to the Motion Service Division and optimize the financial performance within the division. Each day, you will support effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to evaluate various business alternatives. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending the most appropriate business solutions. You will be mainly accountable for: Driving the definition and implementation of global standards and business specific guidelines to ensure continuous improvement in financial control process within your area of responsibility. Leading, providing guidance, and facilitating best practices to ensure alignment and consistency of controlling practices. Ensuring timely and efficient communication with relevant internal customers to identify and discuss issues for improvement of operations, work quality, and efficiency for your area of responsibility. Securing transparency in financial reporting and disclosures. The work model for the role is: Hybrid - #LI-Hybrid Qualifications for the role Bachelor's Degree with minimum 12 years of Financial Management / Accounting experience Preferred Experience Includes: Knowledge of compliance, internal/external controls, customs and taxation, table of authority, risk reviews process, 3rd party suppliers & customers, accounting in a matrixed manufacturing environment. SAP, BUS, WorkDay and CMA/CPA Certifications are greatly desired. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence both internally and externally 10-15% Travel Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
