Position Summary:

  • The Control Systems Automation Specialist will collaborate with Engineered-to-Order (ETO) and Modernization divisions to provide customized software and hardware solutions tailored to client requirements.
  • This position entails the commissioning, troubleshooting, software enhancements, and ensuring that equipment aligns with client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adapt crane control systems utilizing existing software frameworks.
  • Assist in factory acceptance testing, commissioning, and ongoing support of material handling systems.
  • Alter PLC software to fulfill client specifications.
  • Oversee and develop alternatives for outdated automation technology.
  • Address control and software challenges by working closely with engineers and service personnel.
  • Travel to client locations for troubleshooting as necessary.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Software, Electrical, or Automation Engineering.
  • Prior experience in the Manufacturing sector.
  • Experience with Siemens PLC and HMI programming.
  • Background as an Automation Engineer.
  • Understanding of variable frequency drives and control systems for material handling equipment.
  • Familiarity with NEC electrical standards and OSHA safety regulations.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% both domestically and internationally.

Essential Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience in the Manufacturing Industry.
  • Experience as an Automation Engineer.
  • Proficiency in Siemens PLC & HMI Programming.
  • Knowledge of NEC electrical code & OSHA Safety standards.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
  • Consistent work history.
