This includes starting security clearances of new Relay employees as well as screening and hiring applicants. Internal to Relay, they partner with hiring managers on being an expert partner to their assigned business unit & placing candidates in appropriate jobs in a timely matter. The Recruiter serves as Relay's brand ambassador in the business units and works closely with others across the HR team to accomplish hiring goals. Effectively evaluate applications for job & culture fit and promptly follow up with candidates to meet high volume hiring needs. Act as the primary recruiter for all of Relay's business operations/support roles Work all candidates from various sources within 24-48 hours of receiving an application to ensure timely follow-up Key contributor to departmental recruitment strategies for direct labor opportunities across the organization Represent Relay at a variety of job fairs and community events Assist with Relay's Employee Referral Program. Promote the program to Relay staff. Track submitted referral forms. Notify the manager, payroll department, and employee when a referral is successful Inter-Department Functions Continually update department managers and hiring teams on status changes in the application, recruitment, and hiring processes Assist candidates & other departments to successfully guide candidates and hiring managers through the recruitment life cycle and Ability One or Oregon Forward eligibility processes Manage, develop, and coordinate work assignments for the Employment Program team Administrative Serve as the subject matter expert of the applicant tracking system Oversee the successful completion of background check reports and manage the selection, service level Participate in training hiring managers and department managers on recruitment best practices, including the use of interview guides and messaging to candidates throughout the interview, hiring, and onboarding processes, and the use of Ability One accommodation recommendations Assist applicants in the completion of employment applications and retrieving disability documentation Coordinate initial disability reviews for candidates who are applying for disability specific openings Other duties as assigned. Qualifications And Education Requirements 3+ years' experience working in fast-paced, people-facing operations 2+ years' experience of successful full-cycle recruitment experience Sourcing experience with candidates who have disabilities Bachelor's degree or some college in Human Resources, Human Services, Marketing, or related area preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills required; must genuinely like talking with a diverse population Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment Strong organization and time management skills Creative problem-solving skills to address complex issues Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize on short notice Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and listening; ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population Demonstrated networking abilities Proficient in technology including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), social media Experience in developing and facilitating presentations Strong network with community organizations/advocates who support people with disabilities Valid driver's license and reliable automobile, safe driving record and insurance coverage acceptable to Relay's insurance carrier Ability to pass a criminal history background check and/or fingerprinting as appropriate at any time during employment #J-18808-Ljbffr
