The Role:

In order to support growth and increase in manufacturing capacity, Entegris is seeking an experienced Fab Engineer to join our team in Colorado. This engineer will be directly responsible for conceptualization, design, and implementation of VOC (volatile organic compounds) abated minienvironments within our manufacturing facilities.

This is an innovative role that will be supporting new factory and equipment design from the VOC abatement perspective and implementation of such systems. This role will entail researching and developing new and Innovative Technologies and systems to be implemented within Entegris facilities to enhance contamination controls and drive down VOC presence in state-of-the-art manufacturing environments.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead cross functional R&D, Operations and facilities teams to drive Mechanical Design, implementation and Support of Point of Use VOC reduction Systems for manufacturing and assembly Equipment
  • Implement VOC reduction systems to function with Cleanroom Mechanical Systems
  • Drive Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) Abatement inside the manufacturing environment
  • Own related system design responsibilities and ensure developed designs are standardized and ready for use in future design projects
  • Engage with contamination control forums at Entegris
What We Seek:
  • Bachelor's degree in Organic Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering at the minimum; advanced degree will be an advantage
  • 5 years or more experience in mitigation of organic and molecular contaminants in Semiconductor fab like Facilities and/or Equipment
  • 5 or more years of industry/sector experience in Semiconductor/ Aerospace or adjacent high tech industry
  • Proven ability to manage and direct technicians and contractors as well as coordinate multiple design and contractor disciplines on a variety of projects
  • Independent, self-motivated and with high standard of professional integrity
  • Leadership, effective communication, organizational, presentation and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility to travel internationally
Outstanding Candidates Will Have:
  • Experience in abatement of volatile organic compounds (VOC's) in a semiconductor fab or similar high tech manufacturing environment
  • Multidisciplinary educational / career background in Organic chemistry, Chemical engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • Demonstrated deeper understanding of volatile organic compounds and techniques to remove or mitigate such compounds from products or manufacturing environments

  • Base salary - $125K - $165K, with actual offered salary based on candidate experience
