Position Overview:
As the Manager, Customer Quality at DigiKey, you will lead a team that contributes to the oversight of customer agreements, requirements & audits and collaborate with various teams to ensure agreements are compliant with internal capabilities. This key role will lead a team of individual contributors and leaders of people. Additionally, you will contribute to the vital administrative support by managing a consistent customer audit & agreement review program, responding to customer requests promptly and enhancing DigiKey's customer service.

This is a hybrid role based in Thief River Falls, Minnesota, and will require a minimum of three days per week in the office and availability for onsite projects, as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for ensuring that all operations and processes of the organization are compliant with quality standards, both internal and those mandated by regulatory bodies
  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the organization's customer quality control programs, ensuring that the organization makes decisions that are consistent and risk-adverse
  • Monitor and interpret customer quality changes and updates, ensuring the organization remains informed & compliant both internally and externally, where deemed necessary
  • Oversee internal and external customer quality audits, ensuring preparation, facilitation, and timely response to findings
  • Oversee the creation, review, and updates of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure alignment with quality standards
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate customer requirements and quality considerations into daily operations and processes
  • Use data-driven insights to improve customer quality programs, making necessary adjustments to meet evolving requirements.
  • Identify and assess potential customer quality risks, implementing mitigation strategies
  • Ensure thorough documentation of all compliance activities, findings, and corrective actions

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in related field, operations, or a similar role with a global focus including 2 years of leadership experience
  • Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to lead and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive strategic decisions
  • Change management expertise to facilitate the adoption of new technologies within the organization
  • Experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and budget management
  • Exemplary Microsoft Excel skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration, management, organizational behavior, or similar area of study or equivalent, relevant work experience
Physical Requirements:
  • Generally, spend the workday sitting at a workstation and operating computer devices, such as, but not limited to keyboard, mouse and screen
