Job Overview The Supply Chain Analyst position will be responsible for analyzing procurement key metrics and recommend a course of action to supply chain leadership within the Hubbell Industrial Strategic Business Unit. The main role of the Supply Chain Analyst is to gather, analyze and evaluate purchasing and sourcing data to support the procurement activities of the organization. This highly cross-functional role will work with Engineering, procurement, and suppliers to improve supply chain operations. The Supply Chain Analyst may create, distribute, analyze and make recommendations during eRFQ efforts to support the organization. A Day In The Life Contributing to electronic request for quotation (e-RFQ) process, including creating, distributing, and tracking RFQs to suppliers. Analyzing supplier quotes and proposals to determine the best value for the organization based on factors such as price, quality, delivery time and terms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Sourcing, Procurement, Engineering, and Suppliers to identify requirements and specifications for RFQs. Create simple, repeatable processes and methods to gather supply chain data to achieve objectives. Perform weekly and monthly KPI and Scorecard reports supporting Supply Chain strategies. Support new product development and sustaining sourcing activities with data analytics. Run Purchasing Metrics: PO Confirmation, Past due lines, Exception Messages, aged requisitions, others. Provide data analytics to identify problematic areas and suggest optimization opportunities on project-based assignments supporting continuous improvement efforts. Conduct analytics, comparisons, and generate reports to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all platforms. Support analytics to align purchasing patterns with market conditions, identifying opportunities for risk mitigation and strengthening supply chain resilience. What will help you thrive in this role? 0 to 2 years (+) experience in data-oriented field or field of study. Strong Analytical skills (i.e., cost modeling, quotation analysis, supplier selection). Good communications skills, written and verbal. Intermediate-level Excel knowledge. Must be highly self-motivated. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with others at all levels of the organization. Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team. A small amount of travel may be necessary. Preferred Qualifications Experience in supply chain or procurement preferred. Basic/Intermediate Microsoft Power BI is preferred.
