Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage material requirements and machine capacity to fulfill production schedules.
- Create and adjust production schedules based on customer demands and current inventory levels.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of on-hand inventories with manufacturing and distribution stocks to minimize discrepancies.
- Maintain precise inventory accuracy for components, raw materials, and purchased items through systematic cycle counting and diligent system upkeep.
- Ensure proper organization and control of inventory storage locations within the facility.
- Strive to maintain optimal inventory levels and turnover rates.
- Lead local procurement activities and manage supplier relationships for both maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) and production materials.
- Monitor customer demands and performance metrics to ensure satisfaction.
- Review and analyze routings and Bills of Materials (BOMs) for each component and product, as well as inventory planning data.
- Oversee all aspects of customer service, shipping, and receiving operations.
