Job Description:
The Docketing Coordinator will assist in handling the firm's docket needs for all attorneys nationwide. Responsibilities include selecting/updating Court/Agency Jurisdictions, docketing hearings with related deadlines, docketing written discovery deadlines, and docketing trial dates with all related deadlines. The Docketing Coordinator will also handle additional administrative tasks as needed.
Primary Responsibilities:
Create scheduled automated Docket reports based on Attorney and Staff time requests
Create one-time docket reports per request
Schedule upcoming hearings
Save, scan, and copy court documents
Manage different mailbox requests from each location
Qualifications:
Experience in a litigation firm
Experience with Aderant CompuLaw, specifically Aderant Vision and Aderant MyView2, is a must
3+ years of experience in litigation docketing
Familiarity with docketing deadlines for State and Federal courts
Qualities Ideal Candidates will have:
Ability to effectively set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects for several attorneys and staff
Strong verbal and written communication skills
A commitment to the utmost professionalism and accuracy in written work product
Exceptionally well-organized and detail-oriented
Adaptable to changing priorities; flexible
Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to interact with all levels of firm personnel, clients, other counsel, and vendors
Ability to troubleshoot issues and create solutions
