Logistics Coordinator

is an essential role that helps a company get their product into the consumers’ hands in a timely manner. Their responsibilities include overseeing aspects of dispatching, warehouse operations, and providing excellent customer service to our customers. Responsibilities : Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments Responding to customer inquiries and referring clients to the proper channels Field inbound both internal and external customer requests, via phone, or email Operate dispatch software to ensure all routes & orders are properly assigned and contain the correct information for the delivery and billing processes Manage drivers to meet on-time requirements and efficiency levels – meet company minimum on-time performance levels Notify clients well in advance of potential late deliveries Utilize dispatch software daily to transform shipment data into routes & orders Reach out to drivers and supervisors as needed to get delivery information Perform all normal and necessary warehouse functions such as shipping, receiving, cycle counting, WMS data entry, stocking shelves, maintaining overall warehouse hygiene, and organization Quote Courier, Box Truck, and Freight delivery services Cover routes as needed Other responsibilities as assigned by management Schedule:

Monday - Friday 4pm to 12:30am Pay:

$21-$23 Per Hour Requirements Skills Required: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications Excellent communication skills to collaborate with others under any type of condition Excellent clerical and organizational skills to keep track of schedules, routes and personnel Knowledge of computers for scheduling and other dispatching duties Ability to multitask with different, and sometimes conflicting, events happening at the same time Able to work under stress in a fast-paced work environment Keen attention to detail Travel & Work Conditions: Primarily sedentary Occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds Exposure to extreme hot and cold weather elements when outside or driving Education and Experience: At least 21 years of age High school diploma or higher required 2+ years of experience in an administrative role required 2+ years of customer service experience required Has a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations or at fault accidents in the previous 3 years Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States without any type of work authorization or work sponsorship now or in the future What we offer: Weekly pay Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance are available to employee on the first of the following month after hire 401(k) with match Short- & Long-Term Disability Employee Assistance Program Company paid and optional Life Insurance Optional Hospital, Critical Illness, and Accident Indemnity Insurance Paid Time Off & Sick Pay Advancement opportunities in a fast-growing organization Associated Couriers is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
