Mortgage Post Closing Supervisor . As our Post Closing Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and supervision of the mortgage loan shipping team, to ensure that all loan deliveries are assembled and delivered accurately, timely and in accordance with established policies and procedures:

Uphold the mission and values of Opportunity Bank of Montana.

Empowering employees to continually excel in quality loan delivery and teamwork.

Manage the activities of the mortgage post-closing team in selecting, orienting, training, coaching and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; appraising job contributions and recommending compensation actions.

Develop loan post closers to ensure accurate and timely purchase and/or securitization of all funded loans by investors and the handling and daily management of any related suspense items or conditions; ensure loans are correctly allocated, delivered, reviewed, and cleared with investors service levels, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal compliance policies and procedures.

Serve as first point of contact for post closers.

Work with Mortgage Operations Manager to meet loan operational standards by monitoring production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards; resolving problems; identifying and recommending mortgage loan system improvements.

Foster communication, positive attitudes, professionalism, and a team environment among post closers and with other departments and create a team environment.

Assist Loan Servicing and Loss Mitigation department in reviewing repurchase requests.

Adhere to all applicable compliance regulations and provide direction to fix discrepancies as needed, review accuracy of loan data, documents, and fees.

Handle the most complex loan scenarios and customer issues.

Perform daily duties of a Post Closer and team members during their absence and as necessary.

Update job knowledge and leadership skills by participating in educational opportunities provided by the Bank.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements

4-year college degree (accounting, business, finance, management or related) and 2 years' mortgage loan processing experience - or equivalent combination of education & experience

Knowledge of mortgage loan documents, disclosures, compliance, regulations, and loan process using loan origination system

Knowledge of FHA, VA, USDA and conventional loan delivery standards

Education and Experience Preferences

3-5 years progressively responsible leadership in staff training and supervision Encompass Mortgage software experience
